Following Occupy Wall Street, the Beursplein in Amsterdam (the financial heart of the Netherlands) was occupied on 15 October 2011. People from all over the country came to protest against the increasing power of capitalism and the corrupting forces within the financial world. This film documents the rise and fall of a miniature society that lasted for seven weeks. Who are these people that put up their tents? Will they succeed to build a new structure based on their idealism or will the square slowly start to resemble the 'real world'?
